George Way's Little Black Book

My friend Rob Cook published through Rebeats the above referenced book in 1992. I can't tell you how many times I have gone back to it.

The fifty pages not only tell the story of George's life and career but also give the details of his fabulous ring binder. In it, George listed his suppliers of the mid 50's with memories and notations about decades before.

George also explains technique on matters such as putting plastic covering on drums and how to correctly finish the interior of shells.

Rob is also the author of both the Leedy Book and the Slingerland Book. Besides writing, he tours the country and promotes vintage drum shows. His Rebeats booth sells his books, videos, timeline, t-shirts and a number of other vintage specific items.

If you love old drums, please consider adding each of these to your library. We sell them all as well as my book for Modern Drummer called The Great American Drums ! E-Mail us for information on autographed copies.
